REO Speedwagon is (was?) a good band. But, seriously? How are they worth seeing a million times? Especially so far from their prime.

I certainly understand the question but there is no way to explain how little I give a crap about your opinion. I enjoy posting the set lists and do not care at all if anyone reads them or what they think.

I'm not trying to bash you or anything. I'm asking a serious question, and would like to gain insight into this. I'm just wondering why they are worth seeing so many times, especially when the band is far, far from its prime.
I can see the fun of going and seeing bands, but I don't see the upside of seeing a band live so many times within a short time period. Take a band I really like, The Black Keys. I saw them at Summerfest this year and the show was awesome. But, go out of my way to Indiana to see them again at a show which they perform basically the same setlist. When they come out with a new CD or if I wait a few years it will be worth seeing them again, but right now? No.
Then take REO, they have been performing the same hit songs for what? 30 years? How is it worth seeing them over and over and over again?

Personal preference. I am at a point in my life and I enjoy it so that is all that matters to me. You see a lot of the same people and it becomes kind of a fraternity. It isn't something that can be easily explained. I enjoy it and have fun every time so that is enough for me.
I certainly understand some of your thoughts but it is worth it to me.

You drive all over the midwest for these concerts; it's admirable.
